1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LetsPickaTrip ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LetsPickaTrip is a collaborative trip-planning platform that helps groups coordinate travel plans, compare destinations, build itineraries, and share city checklists. The Service may include AI-powered features to assist with planning.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as needed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload or share content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service without our express permission.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the Service, including trip plans, checklists, and other materials. By posting content, you grant LetsPickaTrip a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content created by LetsPickaTrip, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as mapping, flight search, or accommodation providers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.

8. Premium Subscriptions and Billing

The core Service is free. We also offer an optional paid plan ("Premium") that unlocks more AI itinerary generations, research, and chat assistance than the free allowance, plus priority support. Every account, including Premium, is subject to fair-use limits on AI features.

• Monthly subscription. Premium is sold as a recurring monthly subscription. On the web, payment is processed by Stripe. On iOS, Premium is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase, and on Android through Google Play Billing when available, in each case subject to that store's terms.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and you will be charged the then-current price, until you cancel.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Web subscriptions are cancelled with "Manage billing" on your account or Premium page, which opens our Stripe billing portal; App Store subscriptions from your Apple ID subscription settings; and Google Play subscriptions from the Play Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep Premium access until then.
• No free trial. Premium does not include a free trial or introductory period: your first payment is charged when you subscribe, and the free plan remains available without a subscription.
• Pricing. The price and billing cadence are shown before you purchase. We may change the price of Premium; we will give you notice in advance of any change, and the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
• Taxes. Prices may exclude VAT, sales tax, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• Store purchases. For purchases made through Apple or Google, the store is the merchant of record and its billing, renewal, and cancellation rules apply in addition to these Terms.

9. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not offer refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused features, or periods where your account was inactive, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google respectively. Refund requests for those purchases must be made to Apple or Google and are decided under their refund policies; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.

10. AI-Generated Content

Itineraries, suggestions, imported trip details, chat replies, and similar planning content in the Service are generated with the help of third-party artificial intelligence models. This content is produced automatically and may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong — including opening hours, prices, addresses, availability, and travel requirements.

AI-generated content is provided for planning convenience only. Before relying on it, verify bookings, opening hours, prices, and any travel, health, or entry requirements directly with the relevant provider or authority. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on AI-generated content, and Section 11 applies to it in full.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LetsPickaTrip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, travel disruptions, or financial losses.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features, change pricing, or need to reflect legal or regulatory changes. When we make material changes we will notify you in advance by posting a notice on the Service or by email, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Service and, if you have a Premium subscription, cancel it before the changes take effect.
